Over the last few weeks, I’ve been completely out of my routine. It’s been frustrating. Since I launched this site in November of 2024, I’ve rarely missed daily posts. It’s been even rarer that I’ve missed several days in a row. But what constitutes international travel has, over the last few weeks, caused me to yield a bit. Nevertheless, I’m trying to recover my groove.
Also, despite not posting, behind the scenes I haven’t been sitting idle. I’ve been writing a lot. I’ve been making connections in a new scene. I’ve been prepping for an upcoming show with a completely new 15min. And I’ve been working on another project with my pal, Brandon Latack. Wanna hear more? Great!
If you’ve been around this site for any length of time, you already know about my “Messed-Up To Set-Ups Podcast” (HERE or HERE). Well, I’m branching out and, in addition to that, I’m launching another podcast with Brandon. We’re calling it “The Pro-Laugh Podcast.” The ethos of this is the same as all of my comedic endeavors: To be “pro-laugh” in the sense that we’re always open to finding the funny in everything and living by the principle that “Laughter Is Greater Than Outrage.”
To that end, we want others to join in the pursuit. We want to see this blossom into a movement. Everyone and everything deserves to a) laugh, and b) be laughed at. Of course, we’re not out seeking to offend or anything like that. We just believe that laughter really does trump outrage. We’d rather laugh together than rage. So, “The Pro-Laugh Podcast” will hopefully draw in like-minded folks and spawn a little Pro-Laugh Movement.
In our podcast, we’ll talk about our lives as comedians, we’ll explore stories currently in the news cycle, we’ll take you behind the scenes and tell you about jokes we’re working on, we’ll show you some of the ways we work on jokes, we’ll answer audience questions, and more. I’m really stoked about this. I’d love for you to subscribe to our YouTube Channel here:
You can find episodes 1 and 2 below. You can also sub on Spotify and, soon, on iTunes / Apple, iHeart, etc. So, join us. And bear with us as we work out all the kinks such as sound, video, audio, transitions, etc. I’ll share new episodes on here but, again, please follow us. Thanks for your support.
