Great article! We don’t just let people live rent free in our head, we invite them to be squatters in our daily consciousness…and then we blame them for being in there when we refused to do the work of kicking them out.

I think a lot of us were never taught how to kick them out. I also think a lot of us get stuck in what's familiar and, even though that may have elements of struggle to it, it's what's familiar and staying in that is easier than doing the work of writing an eviction notice and following through on it. Good stuff.
