I’m a stand-up comedian who teaches joke writing. I believe comedy isn’t magic, it’s craft. And I prove it by performing comedy, then showing you exactly how I do it, so you can go and do it. In short, I’m all about “Workshopping the Comedy & Comedian.”
My Philosophy of Comedy has 2 engines that drive everything:
Laughter > Outrage; and,
If it’s messed-up, it’s material.
What I Do:
Perform stand-up comedy (you can watch clips on YouTube or IG);
Teach joke writing (take My Joke Writing Course OR Memory Course OR Contact me for 1-on-1);
Host a comedy podcast by myself (Messed-Up to Set-Ups) and with friends (The Wide Net Podcast);
Write daily about the craft of comedy (Daily Blog here on Substack) plus publish books like Comedy Mindhacks; and,
